Overview
The Kabuki-za Theater in Higashi-Ginza. It’s just like a dream world. Outside, the distinctive Chinese styled gable eaves and hanging red lanterns. Inside, actors hustle about on stage in glamorous costumes, while in the lobby, many famous masterpiece paintings line the walls. This exhibit not only features ukiyo-e prints of Kabuki actors, but also the actual costumes used in the theater and Japanese paintings on loan from the Kabuki-za's collection! Experience the fascinating world of the Kabuki-za in this very special exhibit.
